I was considering getting a breast augmentation and, later on, a tummy tuck for years after having my kids. Physically, I was (and still am) in the best shape of my life; however, pregnancy left some reminders that no matter what my diet or exercise routine were that would never go away. What kept holding me back was a general fear of surgery and also the recovery after surgery.
Dr. Knoll was recommended to me by a friend (who I didn’t even know had breast augmentation until she told me – that’s how natural they the look). From the first time I reached out to Dr. Knoll’s office, the customer service was amazing. From just talking through the basics before any real consultation all the way through the post-op process. The information provided is REAL – you will not be made promises that physically can’t be achieved – there is no sugar coating… I had babies, I will always have stretch marks, it’s a fact, and surgery won’t fix it, etc.
All that to say, I ended up getting a mommy makeover (breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and some liposuction). And I am BEYOND happy I did. I have zero regrets.
The information provided before surgery allowed me to make informed decisions about what I truly wanted and also calmed my nerves and fear that I had about having surgery and the recovery process. The surgery went as planned. And the recovery (while still painful) was NOT anywhere close to as bad as what my expectations were. I felt better way quicker than I expected and was able to resume (almost) normal life within approximately 2 weeks. The biggest hurdle for me was forcing myself to restrict what I was allowing myself to do – not exercising was hard, not lifting things (when I truly felt like I could) was even harder.
I am now approximately 5 months post-op and I am over the moon happy with my results.
A side note: I did travel (approximately 1 hour flight) to Germany to work with Dr. Knoll and her team. And they did everything within their power to make the process as easy as possible even with the distance. They provided me the resources and information to make the travel and local accommodations work for me pre- and post-surgery.
